Be who you are. There's nothing wrong with that.... When you feel high, go ahead and feel high. When you feel low... feel low. But in all events, and at all times, try to step back and watch yourself feeling what you are feeling. Don't beat yourself up for your emotions, but do acknowledge them, and limit their negative impact on your choices. - John Vorhaus

There's no question that aggressive poker is winning poker. If the world's top players have only one thing in common, it's that they take control of the hands they play with bets and raises. Usually... calling is the least attractive option. - Chris "Jesus" Ferguson

Finish every day and be done with it... You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it... serenely, and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

When I lose a tough hand, it doesn't bother me that much. Not that I'm not emotional or concerned with what's going on. It's just another poker hand... It's not that big a deal. I'll get lucky and win hands I shouldn't and lose hands I shouldn't lose. I try not to put too much into any one hand of poker. - Phil Ivey
